Microsoft Word Problem - New Documents Not Blank
The problem is when you create a new MS Word document, the document is not blank. This article shows you how to fix this problem. It can also be used to change the template of a new MS Word document so you can have all the fonts and setup in place when you create a new document.

You can now remove all the content or you can even change the fonts and sizes as you wish. They all will be available next time you open a new one:
You can save it as a template now:
You have to save it with the exact name Normal.dotm and the type as Word Macro_Enabled template. Let's put it on your Desktop.
Copy the file
Open the folder C:\Users\<YOUR_USER_NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates
Now you have to override the file Normal.dotm in the folder with the file you have created earlier
